Typesetting

I got the edits for all three books back and started typesetting the first one. If I manage to get The Ruby Key set before I move (in December), I should be able to get a kickstarter up and running in January. What bonus material would you like to see? I’m not promising anything but I’ll ponder every suggestion (digital stuff naturally is better for me because shipping costs can get expensive fast).

Josh is on board and will get the background updated in time for the typesetting of the cover for The Ruby Key. I also found someone who recreated the cover font for me, so the first two will look just like the old books.

I’m really excited about this. If you haven’t yet and you’re interested in the progress of the series, please join the newsletter.

It’s starting

I’ve got all the edits back. Now I need to go through them and approve each one (very little in The Ruby Key and The Silver Door, but a lot in The Emerald Sun). After that, it’s time for the typesetting and the cover. I’m stoked.

Once I’ve got everything together, I’ll start building a kickstarter campaign. Of course I’ll let those on the eMail-list know first when the campaign goes life before I’ll post here. I hope you’ll all be on board for this adventure.

Cover Artist

Great News! The artist who did the original covers (Joshua Middleton) has agreed to work with me on the series. That means we’ll get the original art plus more in the same style. I’m over the moon happy. I love those original covers so much. Now all I need to do is find the correct font to make them as similar as possible to the originals.

The End and the Beginning!

After finishing the revision of The Emerald Sun, the third novel in Holly Lisle’s Sun and Moon series, I’ve finally managed to start setting up the website. I hope you’ll like it, and please let me know what I should add (it doesn’t mean I will, but I’ll try as time allows).
