I just received the last copies of The Ruby Key with colored edges and packed the final rewards. I hope you’ll like them just as much as I do. I thought long about what to use for the edges and decided I’d like to have something that hints at “multiverse” while also giving fans a complete picture to display with all 4 books. So I came up with the stars and I love it. How about you?
The last few books with colored edges were taken to the post office today and will arrive at their destinations shortly. And with that, the kickstarter for book one has wrapped up. The only rewards I can’t fulfill just now are 2 of the naming rewards because they will be in book 4 and I’m still writing that novel.
The official release of this book in eBook, hardcover, and paperback will be on October 8th, Holly Lisle’s birthday. The eBook can already be pre-ordered on Amazon (just in case you want to send someone to get the book), the other versions will be linked once the book goes life (that’s just the way Amazon works). Around that time, I’ll most likely start the kickstarter for “The Silver Door”, so stay tuned.

Since we’re renovating our new house, the writing doesn’t go as fast as I’d like but I’d rather write a little every day that’s good enough for a reasonably easy revision than rushing things which will inevitably lead to a lot of revising. Either way the first draft should be done by Christmas if all goes well.
